Terms & Conditions (Parties) 2009-2010
We require a full payment to be made on any party before the date. This
is not only because we need to order goodie bags and prizes but also as it
provides us with the security that our customers will not cancel last
minute. If in the unlikely event of us making an agreement with someone
to pay on the day, due to various reasons, the payment must be handed
over before the party begins. This is also to provide us with the security if
unforeseen events occur causing the customer to refuse payment.
At every party we need some responsible adults present to help to keep
children under control. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to ensure
all children are behaving responsibly around the animals. Anyone not
following the rules may be ejected at Jungle Fortress Staff’s discretion.
Any injuries sustained by any party resulting from a lack of compliance
are the full responsibility of the parents/guardians present at the time.
Our staff are trained in animal handling and will always ask the children
to stay quiet around the animals, not put fingers in their mouths, and not
be scared around the animals as they don’t need to touch anything if they
don’t want to.
We reserve every right to withhold animals from public interaction if we
deem it unsafe due to any unforeseen circumstances. We have never been
forced to take such drastic measures but we always put the animals’
welfare first. If such a party were to arise, with behaviour stopping us
from safely interacting with the animals, payment is not refundable.
If a party has recommended animals in particular they would like us to
bring, we cannot guarantee that those animals can be brought. This might
be due to the animal being used a lot at different events, or physiological
reasons, such as a snake shedding its skin.
The contents of goodie bags are subject to availability and may change
from those detailed on the website. This may be due to our supplier
running out of stock or if a party has booked us too close to the date.

Terms & Conditions (Workshops)
2009-2010
We bring a full risk assessment to every workshop.
We require a full payment to be made on any workshop before the date.
As it provides us with the security that our customers are serious. If in
the unlikely event of us making an agreement with someone to pay on the
day, due to various reasons, the payment must be handed over before the
workshop begins. This is also to provide us with the security if unforeseen
events occur causing the customer to refuse payment.
All workshops have different activities, which are decided on the day. This
is judged on the pupils’ physical and mental abilities. If a teacher has any
suggestions on activities, which might be more suitable, we are always
open to suggestions!
At any workshop we require 3 teachers or teaching assistants to be
present. It is a legal requirement to have a responsible adult to every 7
children; so depending on the size of the class we may need more (or less)
assistants. This is also dependent on the children’s level of ability.
