About Jungle Fortress Animal Sanctuary
Jungle Fortress Animal Sanctuary is a sanctuary for all kinds of unwanted, sick or lost animals. Here we house and rehome exotic, endangered and unusual species, in addition to more traditional pets. Our aim is to work closely with schools, other animal sanctuaries and the general public, in order to minimise the problem many abused or ill treated exotic and domestic animals are faced with in the UK and abroad. We fund ourselves by bringing our friendly and tolerant animals into schools and children's birthday parties, to help teach young people how to care for the environment and about the animals we share our planet with. Children's Animal Parties We can provide entertainment and organise animal themed children's parties! We are able to arrange good quality party bags, animal themed party games, prizes, invitations, bravery awards, 'I survived certificates' and entertainment to bring to your animal party! We will bring a range of animals for everyone to touch and hold. The parties are of the highest standard in every way, from the entertainment, to the quality of the goodie bags. Animal Workshops for Schools We have a range of set animal workshops for schools to choose from based around the National Curriculum and different topics such as food chains and habitats. The workshops are a great way to bring the children's wild side into the classroom in a fun and educational way! Summer Fairs & Events We are able to bring a selection of our animals to events and fairs for people to touch and hold. All events and fairs are different so please get in touch with us so that we can tailor our services to your specific requirements. Click the title of this section to view more details. Open Days We host open days throughout the year for our supporters to come and visit the animal sanctuary, and see the animals which can't leave the animal sanctuary. We've Got It Covered We are fully covered with public liability insurance, risk assessments and our staff are all CRB approved. We also bring hand wash to all events we go to for people to wash their hands after touching animals. How Can You Help There are many ways in which people can help us. You can give us your time as a volunteer, old animal equipment (towels, pillow cases, wood, old cages, vivariums), donate money or adopt an animal. The biggest thing you could give us is by volunteering to network, fund raising or distributing leaflets to schools and parents about our animal workshops and animal parties. Word of mouth is our biggest ad, so please tell your friends, family and everyone else you meet about Jungle Fortress Animal Sanctuary!
